DESCRIPTION:This online course will give an introduction to ECMWF's comput
 ing services available to users from Member- and Co-operating States with 
 a particular emphasis on the ECS service provided on the Atos. Access to t
 he Meteorological Archival and Retrieval System (MARS) and the European We
 ather Cloud (EWC) will also be covered.  The course target audience are u
 sers from ECMWF Member- and Co-operating States who are new to ECMWF syste
 ms or those planning to use the ECMWF systems in the near future. The cour
 se will be delivered as a mixture of presentations (via Teams) and practic
 al sessions\, in a virtual classroom setting using Gather.Town.Prior know
 ledge of Linux (Unix) and a programming language are of advantage. Please 
 note that accepted users are expected to attend the entire course. Users w
 ho are planning to use the system in the near future but do not have a use
 r-ID yet are encouraged to get one before the training. Please also note 
 that 1 November is a public holiday in many European countries\, and that 
 the course will not take place on that day. It will resume 2 November.All
