Look foward to seeing you there! ECMW F is excited to be running a side event at EMS 2024 to complement its annu al Using ECMWF’s Forecasts (UEF) event. This side event is taking place on Tuesday 3 September 2024\, in Lecture Room 102A/B and will consist of four sessions. Each session will have a focal topic for discussion\, two s essions will have a moderated attendance (registration is required) and tw o others will be drop-in sessions open to all. All sessions are open to r egistered attendees of EMS 2024 only.UEF2024 was initially held online as a two-day event on 5 and 6 June 2024\, many ECMWF updates were presented i ncluding on IFS model cycles\, forecast products\, machine learning and Co pernicus. Each attendee is asked to bring 3 good or bad ECMWF forecast cases to the session with associated im ages/charts for group discussion.This session is aimed at operational fore casters particularly from National Meteorological and Hydrological Service s (NMHS) and commerical users of ECMWF forecasts.
