 scription\nOn Tuesday 1 July 2025\, the first version of the Artificial In
 telligence Forecasting System (AIFS) Ensemble model will be released and s
 upported operationally. This release marks another milestone in ECMWF hist
 ory\, as AIFS ENS v1 will be the first AIFS ensemble model to be made full
 y operational.\nAIFS ENS\, v1 model will not be an upgrade of currently ex
 perimental diffusion AIFS ENS model. It is a first version of a new model 
 that is trained using a version of the Continuous Ranked Probability Score
  (CRPS)\, a loss function that helps ensure the forecasts are both accurat
 e and well-calibrated.\nIn addition to operationalisation of AIFS ENS\, v1
  will bring several new data and graphical probabilistic prodcuts availabl
 e in the EMCWF Open charts platform.\nIn this webinar Simon Lang\, Senior 
 Scientist in the Earth System Modeling Section\, introduced AIFS ENS v1 mo
 del and its performance\, and Maartje Kuilman\, Analyst in User Services S
 ection presented available data and products and the ways to obtain them.
