In 2025, ECMWF will mark its 50th anniversary with a series of publications and events highlighting some of the key scientific developments that have been achieved in collaboration with our Member States within the European Meteorological Infrastructure, and with our partners around the globe.
The first week of events will take place in Bonn, Germany from 7 to 11 April. Taking place during this week are:
- Annual Seminar 2025
- Workshop on data assimilation: initial conditions and beyond
- Workshop on surface process coupling and its interactions with the atmosphere
- The evolution of Copernicus Services at ECMWF: challenges and opportunities
- Workshop on ancillary data for land surface and Earth system modelling
