We are pleased to invite you to the next Destination Earth (DestinE) Machine Learning Retreat, organised by ECMWF together with the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI). The retreat will take place in Vaalsbroek from 3 to 5 March at the Bilderberg Kasteel Vaalsbroek.
AI and Machine Learning continue to play an important role in the DestinE initiative. This includes the further development and use of data-driven models to support uncertainty quantification within the Digital Twins.
Building on the first ML Retreat last year, the objectives of this year's retreat are to:

reflect and share progress on recent breakthrough in applying data-driven modelling for weather and climate modelling,

brainstorm on how to expand these capabilities towards data-driven earth-system modelling from hours to decades ahead
-
enhance synergies between various initiatives taking place in Europe in this space.
Accommodation and logistics
By registering, we will provide accommodation and catering at the Hotel for the duration of the retreat. Participants are only required to arrange and cover their travel to the venue.
