Using ECMWF's Forecasts (UEF2023)

UEF2023 focuses on the following thematic areas

• The science of ensemble forecasting - delving into how ensemble forecasts are produced at different forecasting centres and new developments across meteorology, hydrology, air quality, and climate
• Using ensemble models and data - exploring the challenges and opportunities of using ensemble forecast models and data including providing feedback on ECMWF ensemble models
• Ensemble forecast applications and products - showcasing new or updated applications and products, which use ensemble data, aimed at forecast users 
• Communication of ensembles and probabilities - welcoming operational techniques, case studies and innovative methods of communication of ensembles and their probabilities to forecast users
