ECMWF's UEF at EMS 2024: Side Event

EMS 2024 | Barcelona, Spain | September 3, 2024

ECMWF is excited to be running a side event at EMS 2024 to complement its annual Using ECMWF’s Forecasts (UEF) event.

This side event is taking place on Tuesday 3 September 2024, and will consist of four sessions. Each session will have a focal topic for discussion, two sessions will have a moderated attendance (registration is required) and two others will be drop-in sessions open to all.

All sessions are open to registered attendees of EMS 2024 only.

UEF2024 was initially held online as a two-day event on 5 and 6 June 2024, many ECMWF updates were presented including on IFS model cycles, forecast products, machine learning and Copernicus. All presentations and recordings can be found here.

To complement the online event with highly appreciated in-person discussions, feedback sessions and networking, we are organising a second instalment of UEF2024 as a side-event at EMS 2024.

We are looking forward to meeting with you and to gathering feedback from a wide range of ECMWF forecast users.
